Randomness in the backyard :) ~Nov. 9, 2010

I came home from school yesterday feeling inspired to take some pictures in my backyard. So I grabbed my tripod and off I went... :)

HCYA Lions ~Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010

One of the highlights of my highschool years was running track and cross country with the HCYA (Homeschool Christian Youth Association) Lions. I wouldn't trade the three and a half seasons of cross country and one season of track I ran for anything! :) Lots of good times.  I didn't do as well as I would have liked but my awesome and encouraging teammates made it more than worthwhile to run. We are one of the smaller teams out there, but Coach Shy trained us well and the team has done well numerous times individually and as a team.  In August I got a chance to go to a cross country meet and photograph the team.  I had so much fun being back in the cross country meet atmosphere again! I miss running with the Lions.. :) This meet went really well even with the terrible Texas heat. Haha. And here are bunch of photos from the meet! Philipians 4:13!!! Enjoy the pictures..
